Reporter Bruce Nolan recounts the intense relationship between people and the newspaper after Hurricane Katrina, calling it "ferocious." The newspaper staff provided critical information and also a sense of continuity. Now, the paper will publish only three days a week and Bruce Nolan says there is public grief about the change.
