Fire Spotter In New Mexico's Gila National Forest

Dick speaks with Philip Connors about his summer work as a U.S. Forest Service fire lookout. He works in a 50-foot tower with a two-way radio so he can alert fire teams if he sees the beginnings of a wildfire. He is author of "Fire Season: Field Notes from a Wilderness Lookout."
